I recently got back from a truly transformative week attending the New Jersey Symphony’s Edward T. Cone Composition Institute at Princeton University in New Jersey. One of the highlights of this experience was getting to know the other three fellow emerging composers who were selected for the institute – Paul Cosme, Leigha Amick and Santiago Beis. We spent a lot of time together and I learned so much from them as well as becoming a huge fan of their music! At the end of the week, before we had our pieces performed by the New Jersey Symphony, we had the opportunity to chat with Rachel Katz from WWFM about our experience at the institute and our musical journeys so far.
