Stoked to share that in July I will be travelling to New Jersey to take part in this year’s Edward. T Cone Composition Institute, alongside three other early career composers. This annual initiative is delivered by the New Jersey Symphony with support from the Princeton University Music Department, and has been operating since 2014. It aims to promote contemporary orchestral music and enhance the careers of the four participating composers. At the culmination of the six-day institute, four works by the participating composers, including my piece Speculations on a Rainbow, will be performed by the New Jersey Symphony in a public concert on 20 July at the Richardson Auditorium at Princeton University.
