Creative NZ Arts Grant | Earthworks

Kia ora whānau,

I’m beyond thrilled to share that my good friend and sonic artist Garling Wu, and I, have been awarded funding by Creative NZ to work on our collaborative project Earthworks. Responding to the climate crisis, this project will total approximately 40 minutes of new music in the form of six or seven works, bringing together our respective backgrounds in contemporary classical and electroacoustic music as well as exploring wider musical influences.

We’re so grateful to have been given this funding. As emerging artists this is a huge milestone in our careers and one which will have a long-term impact on our arts practices. Looking forward to sharing more details on this project as it progresses.
